Hazard Mayhem! v0.13.1 Changelog

Additions

Changes

- Iterate exhaust VFX of all cores
- Iterate weapon VFX:

  • Flak
  • Sniper    
  • Shotgun

- Iterate ability VFX:

  •  EMP
  •  Blink

- Refactor of Hazard Manager & all hazards:

  • Drone laser now doesn't do damage, but knockback
  • Barrels have significantly more knockback

- Refactor VFX system for weapons and projectiles

- Small optimizations in how pooling works

Bugfixes

- Fix dead players or hazards being picked as the last one standing

- Fix not being able to start a new game after the first one

Known issues

- Some weapons and abilities are not properly implemented yet and will cause issues. This includes:

  • Sawblade will not return to its sender
  • Bounce Gun will not bounce off walls in the correct angle
  • Grapple is too powerful and will make crafts and barrels jitter all over the place
  • Mines are not cleared after every round and currently deal damage to all players

- Controllers are not assigned properly (player 1 will always be controlled by controller 1, etc)

- Barrels and other explosions don't deal knockback

- Sometimes a module might be not what the player has picked (if this happens please note down the loadout you have picked and the loadout that was used instead)

- The spawn positions for less than four players are inconsistent
